    virgin money are hiding something with their bullshit story about their backlog of payments on 28th june they failed two of my bill payments and stole the money they did not send to the recipients ok so the system is now delivering payments i had to send test payments of small amounts of £1 to various persons to make sure it got there by follow up texts they dont like being called free range morons bt the way , their ai bot terminates any mention of morons You sent im in a queu on land line at moment to their call centre takes about 40 minutes to get through to their rabbit warren You sent thousands of peple are affected but no mention of compensation You sent i suspect the covering up something bigger You sent all i got so far is a pack of lies You sent i got a screen shot of the account You sent but their system times you out every three minutes ang getting back in to the online bank is a pain in the ass You sent so i cant pay my bills buy groceries or do anything but complain on social media it not agents fault its vm im railing at in rant mode they wait time to speak to an agent is now infinite cos the just not answeing the phone too busy hugging other peoples money

    I think the app needs a patch because I’ve tried multiple times to deposit a cheque recently and it just won’t work. The screen turns 90 degrees making it especially difficult and then it doesn’t actually capture the image.

We're sorry to hear about the issues you're encountering with the App. You are welcome to leave us some feedback regarding the issue on the following link: uk.virginmoney.com/feedback/ This was a fault presented in previous versions of our App, but it was resolved at the time. Can you check that you have the latest software version on your device as well as that your Mobile App is up-to-date? Once you've check the above, please try force stopping the app thereafter try resubmitting the cheque. If none of the above steps work you can try the following which would temporarily resolve the issue: close Mobile App > turn on screen recorder on your device > open app and submit the cheque > turn off screen recorder thereafter and delete the recording from your gallery.       @@virginmoney no it does the same thing. I’ve noticed the camera is ok for my savings account but on my joint account the camera is 90 degrees out. And neither accounts will take a picture of the cheque when holding the camera still.

    If you have a Virgin Savings account from 10 years ago starting with 08 sort code, this doesn't work as the login is 7 characters for those old accounts. There's no way of obtaining the 10 digit username it asks you for !

      @@virginmoney I've done some digging and to me it seems that Virgin has different IT systems for different account types. This is so I can access the Virgin Mobile App which only allows accounts with 10 digits, unfortunately some or the old Standard Savings Accounts with Virgin Banking have 7 Characters username not 10 digits. So you cannot use the Standard Savings Accounts from Virgin to use the Virgin Mobile App - not great is it ? However, 'maybe' if you open up a Virgin Banking Current account (which of course YOU CAN use the Virgin Mobile App with) then maybe later on you can link in the old Virgin Savings account to it but I'm not sure; either way I am not going to open up a Virgin Current account I have no need.

      You'd be correct in that we have different products available in different places at this time. If you've got an Account with an 08 Sort Code, it would only be available through the 'Online Service' at this time. I hope this clears things up a little. Thanks, ^JG

    Hi, Virgin Money. I understand that in todays modern world, digital services are seemingly the in thing. But my concern is what will happen if we face say... A huge Carrington Event or a major terrorist EMP or hacking attack which will affect the digital services or some far off war that may affect or even destroy major internet hubs. Is there an analogue backup system in place or is it a lengthy "back to the drawing board" routine?

    this app sucks for paying in a cheq, it puts the camera in some weird reverse mode where up is down and left is right and when you manage to get the perfect focus, nothing happens.

    What a useless bank. Tried to send 10k and got locked out internet and mobile banking. Called the fraud squad and the only thing they would take is a passport number, which was out of date. Told I must go into a bank five miles away, despite having difficulty walking, or my account is on lockdown forever.

    Hello sir. I want to get education and some basic work to support me until i develop some skill. But i am not getting any chance to learn and develop some skill, i am struggling to have most fundamental recources like food and a place to live that one needs to grow and move forward in life. I don't any teacher or school to help me build skills because every information is free now and i can learn it myself from the internet but how can i focus on developing myself when my survival is in danger. There is literally no one in this world to help me. I just need some time so that i don't have to worry about my survival for 6 months to one year and i can focus on learning . I grew up doing labour work without any education but now i want to do some meaningful work and contribute to the world. But how can i even think about that when i am struggling for survival.
